On April 15, 2022, our lives were turned upside down when our then 7 year old son, Bode, was diagnosed with Leukemia. The past 2 years have been a whirlwind of tears, fears, sadness, and madness for our family as we have stood by and supported Bode through his cancer battle/recovery. We now stand 2 years from that tragic day and Bode is thriving. He is back to school, playing sports, hiking mountains, and overall enjoying being a kid. His chemotherapy treatments are planned to cease around November 2024 and we are looking forward to taking on the next chapter of life. While we will never know why God chose our family, or more specifically Bode, to endure these difficult times, we have found comfort in the charity of others. Over the course of the past 2 years, we have been helped immensely by several amazing charities and we are now looking to create our own endeavor for support, research, and advocacy.
